Tal SMS Privacy Policy

Who We Are
"Tal" is a personal scheduling assistant operated by accu.io. Tal sends text messages to help coordinate recreational sports games (such as pickleball and golf) among the operator's personal contacts. This is a free, personal, non-commercial service.
Information We Collect
We collect only what's needed to coordinate a game:
- Your name
- Your mobile phone number
- The content of the text messages you send and receive with Tal
- An email address — only if you choose to provide one for a calendar invitation
We do not collect payment information, precise location, or any sensitive personal information.
How We Use Your Information
We use it solely to invite you to games, collect your availability, confirm the lineup, and send calendar invitations. We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any commercial purpose, and we never sell it.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own purposes or for marketing. Your phone number and message content are processed only by our messaging provider (Twilio) and mobile carriers to deliver the texts, and — if you provide an email — by Google Calendar to send your invitation. The operator also uses an AI assistant provided by xAI (Grok) to manage the game roster on the operator's behalf; that assistant may process your name, phone number, email address if provided, and your game status (invited, in, out, opted in or out), but it never sends you messages itself and never receives the text of messages you send to Tal. These providers act only as service providers to deliver this service.
No mobile information (including your phone number, opt-in, or consent) is ever shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to coordinate games, and you may ask us to delete it at any time by contacting us. We delete it promptly on request.
Your Choices
You choose to join by texting IN to (317) 793-3443 — see the opt-in details. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us below.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
